Soccer Coaching Where Do I Start?
Written by admin on October 31, 2009 – 9:34 am -Soccer has been the sports lifeline of many countries including the United States. The love of the game is so intrinsic that parents provide soccer equipment and soccer gear to their kids at a very tender age. Guided by such soccer parents, some children are given a soccer ball as soon as they learn to walk, some even earlier. In some cases, this is the first exposure kids have to the game of soccer.
However, for the right grooming to play professional soccer, it is imperative that soccer coaching be provided at a young age. A youngster with the right soccer training can be groomed to be a quality player and more importantly a better student of the game. It is all about learning the tactics of the game where you learn not only the skills of how to make a great pass, score an incredible goal, dribble by someone with ease; but also to develop strategies to win which is the ultimate aim.
Soccer enthusiasts however, stress on that aspect of soccer coaching, that the ultimate goal of the players in the learning period is not to focus on match results but to work towards creating a level of confidence and comfort with the ball. It is imperative that a youth soccer player loves the game and works on improving skills with regular soccer drills.

How To Integrate Weight Training Properly Into Your Golf Exercise Program
Written by admin on October 31, 2009 – 9:34 am -Are you too confused about weight training for golf?
There are many opinions in the golf world on whether weight training is beneficial or counter-productive to the golf swing.
On the PGA Tour it is a well-known fact that the majority of professional golfers are implementing golf fitness exercises into their training regimen. The goal of such golf fitness exercises is to improve their play on the golf course.
First and foremost, as a professional strength and conditioning coach on the PGA Tour, I see the benefits of a golf specific exercise program are well documented.
The confusion for most amateur golfers probably centers around what specific training modalities and exercises should they include in their golf fitness programs and what are the professional golfers doing.
I get a lot of questions on how are the professional golfers programs set-up, what specific exercises do they incorporate in their programs, and are the exercises in such programs similar to those found in local health clubs. A lot of people ask me if they should include actual dumbbell and barbell exercises into their golf exercise program.

Upcoming Sports Stars of India
Written by admin on October 31, 2009 – 9:34 am -India never had a rich sporting history in comparison to other countries. If we take Olympics as a benchmark, India has always struggled to find a place in the top of the medals tally. Besides a few selected sports such as hockey and cricket, India has not made a major mark on any other sporting event if we look back at the history of Indian sports. The problem always is related to the development of good sporting infrastructure in the country and the perceptions of the people towards sports as a career launcher.
However, things have started moving ahead for the good if we look back at the past few years of performances by Indian sports stars. Government of India Sports Ministry has started making huge investments into the development of other sports in India. Many sports bodies have been set up to look after different sports in India. These bodies function in coordination with the government in ensuring that best of the facilities are provided to Indian athletes and sports stars.

Men, Beer Belly Be Gone, But You Can Keep Your Beer!
Written by Dorthy Weatherbush on October 31, 2009 – 3:59 am -Men are you sick of hearing about how fine you used to be and how the only thing fine about you now is the wine that you drink? If the answer is yes, that is all about to change, as I can show you how to get rid of your beer fat without ever having to give up the beer! But let’s get down to business by discussing what a beer belly really is and understand what really causes it.
So, what is a beer belly? A beer belly is defined as a lump of fat thats taken up residence between your chest and what used to be your waist. Is it caused by beer? No. Science has proven the beer belly is fat caused by calorie build up, resulting from unhealthy diets and sedentary lifestyles. The abdomen is where men have their greatest deposit of fat cells so, if the body takes in a lot of calories and neglects to burn them through exercise, the body deposits that fat right in your stomach.

NBA Tickets – Eastern Conference All-Star Starters
Written by admin on October 30, 2009 – 9:33 am -All-Stars are the best players in the NBA, and in most cases the ones who sell the most NBA tickets at http://www.stubhub.com/nba-tickets. Let’s take a look at which five players were named as starters for the Eastern Conference in the 2009 NBA All-Star Game. (Note: All statistics are as of January 26th.)
Guard – Dwyane Wade, Miami Heat: Wade is definitely deserving of a starting spot. After an injury-plagued campaign last season, Flash is back and better than ever. He’s leading the league in scoring and has his team in good position to make the playoffs, much to the surprise of most NBA pundits. Wade’s all-around game has really impressed me this season, as has his return to utter dominance. We could see he was healthy again during the Beijing Olympics, but I don’t know if anyone expected him to be this good again this quickly. Wade has regained his status as one of the best five players in the league and it doesn’t look like he’s ready to relinquish that standing anytime soon.
