Written by Alex Mirabeau on November 30, 2009 – 6:07 pm -Though golf players feel that a game of golf is interesting to play when walking around the course, some people just can’t take the task in cases when the course is way too big to walk around and play. At such games, the only thing that can help play this game easily without exhaustion is using golf carts.
And sometimes even if the players can actually walk through the play, they prefer using the golf cart, just because it gives a change in the way the game is played, giving some time to relax on the ride as well as play. The new golf carts that are available in these times and their design and features make the desire for a golfer to use a golf cart even more. With a golf cart, you won’t have to carry your golf sticks bag or anything you wish to carry over with you to places you would move after every shot.

Is Blake Griffin the Answer for the Los Angeles Clippers?
Written by Luke Feldbaum on November 30, 2009 – 5:19 pm -The Los Angeles Clippers lucked out this year. While the team didn’t have the worst record in the NBA last season, they were pretty downright bad. This was pretty surprising considering the fact that the team had signed both Baron Davis and Marcus Camby – two very big names.
Not being able to win 20 games as a professional basketball team is very embarrassing. The Clippers were 27th in scoring and 25th in defense – at least they weren’t dead last in both categories.
Often times, who to select at number one may depend on a team’s needs or preferences. The choice was clear this time around. Blake Griffin had established himself as a dominant player in college basketball, and the overwhelmingly obvious choice at number one.
An extremely versatile player, Griffin’s power and forcefulness are the type that can positively impact any team. He’s a franchise player in the mold of a Tim Duncan.
You may remember that Duncan, alongside David Robinson, led the Spurs to an NBA championship during the very beginning of his career. Can Blake Griffin have a similar type of impact for the Los Angeles Clippers?

Tennis Attire
Written by Gail Jones on November 30, 2009 – 1:04 pm -If you already take part in tennis, then I imagine that you already know what tennis players wear, so this article is aimed at those individuals who would like to buy tennis kit for a loved one for a special occasion. After all, it is not as straightforward as it seems to obtain sports wear for the participant of a sport you understand nothing about.
There is a certain picture we are inclined to relate with a tennis player: white Polo top with shorts or skirt and similar shoes. They are trendy and elegant, comfortable and classic at the same time. Items of tennis apparel often mean a great deal to people who are not just sports fans. If the person you shop for is a tennis lover, tennis attire becomes a great present that can also prove pretty reasonably priced in spite of the rumors that it costs a fortune.
In case tennis kit is something unknown to you, Google it over the Internet and you will be surprised to see how much information there is available. Very many forums will obliquely inform you about prices and discounts going on at an assortment of retail shops and online merchants.

Will Gordon and Villanueva Save the Detroit Pistons?
Written by Jamie Burd on November 30, 2009 – 8:34 am -Things took an interesting turn for the Detroit Pistons this past year. Gone are the days of the Eastern Conference supremacy, and gone are many of the familiar names we’ve been accustomed to seeing in a Pistons uniform over the years.
Chauncey Billups is now in Denver (and playing great basketball). Allen Iverson, who was acquired in this trade, has also left town to sign with the Bobcats (so much for winning that championship anytime soon). Then there’s Rasheed Wallace, who opted to join the Celtics after the end of this season.
The Allen Iverson trade was a disaster and the Pistons played disinterested at times. The Pistons would go on long scoring droughts which essentially ended their season at the all-star break. They were wishing they had Billups back!
For the Chicago Bulls Ben Gordon averaged 21 points per game and made many important shots against the Boston Celtics in the first round in the 09′ playoffs.
Villanueva comes in with some size. He can score points as well and with his presence on defense, he should help improve both sides of the ball.

The Dominator Of Darlington: David Pearson
Written by Ross Everett on November 30, 2009 – 12:16 am -South Carolinas Darlington Raceway is an egg shaped terror that has become known as the track too tough to tame. If thats true, David Pearson came pretty close”during his illustrious career, he posted 10 victories and 12 poles at Darlington. These are both records for one of NASCARs most unforgiving tracks. Pearsons ability at Darlington bordered on the unreal, and he was able to follow the conventional wisdom about performing well there better than anyone. The old saying is that you need to race the track, not the other drivers, but thats a lot easier said than done. Pearson, however, made it look easy.
David Pearson was born on December 22,’34 in Whitney, SC”a textile town near Spartanburg. Like most of the locals, his parents worked in the local cotton mill and did their best to provide. David quit school after the 10th grade and went to work in the mill. It wasnt long, however, before his love of cars and racing made him leave the mill life behind. He bought a car and began racing at short tracks in the upstate. He ran his first race on 9/19/52 in Woodruff South Carolina. Within a few years, he won his first championship at the Greenville”Pickens Speedway in’59.
