Buying A Luxury Home or Vacationing In Wachesaw Plantation Club On The SC Coast
Written by Hubert Miles on February 4, 2010 – 12:23 pm -If you are looking for a coastal community that offers an array of activities, beauty and peaceful serenity then why not give Wachesaw Plantation Club a try. The gem of the club is the championship level golf course created by signature designer Tom Fazio which offers a variety of challenging golf holes that will are sure to improve your game.
Rich in history, the Wachesaw Plantation Club sits on a bluff overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway. The club offers access to the deep river waters that were once used to settle the coastal area of South Carolina. The waterway was important to trade in the area and was also important to the transportation of supplies during the Revolutionary and Civil Wars. Now, these same waters are used by locals and vacationers for fishing, boating, and recreational activities.
Long before English settlers began migrating in, this area was the home of Native Americans who had already started farming the land for rice and indigo. The deep waters allowed the Native Americans to set up trade posts where tribes could gather to trade goods and services. In the 1930s ancient Native American burial grounds were discovered along with pottery shards, tools, and jewelry that shed some light on how Native Americans used to live.

Tips For Golf
Written by Peter Kendelwiki on February 4, 2010 – 11:41 am -Tips for golf will help you to play golf better and stay confident while playing golf regardless of your skill level in golf. When you decide to take some tips for golf, you should be aware that there are no shortcuts. You can improve your playing skills only by steady and constant practice. But if you got what it takes to be a good golfer, these golf tips will definitely guide you.
Posture
Your posture is a major factor in your game. There are no defined rules in positioning yourself and body balance but you have to set your own rule. Imitating someone is not a good idea. There are some people who hold their breath, even control their eyelid movements when they are about to hit the ball leaving viewers an impression that they are handling a sniper! Well, I can assure you that such positions are not going to improve your shots.
Flexibility, on the other hand, is one of the best tips for golf that you can learn. Try to be as flexible as possible, and emulate the swings of the best golfers. If you notice, they all look like the pendulums on a clock when they hit the ball. The key is to hit through the ball and not chop at it, since that smooth motion will provide better control. Relaxed muscles are essential to accomplishing this motion.

Some Of The Most Notable Recent Free Agent Acquisitions In The MLB
Written by Luke Torres on February 4, 2010 – 11:09 am -This has been an interesting two months without baseball ever since the end of the 2009 season. We knew there would be a handful of high profile names entering free agency during the off season.
What a team decides to do in between seasons can largely shape their success during the year to come. A perfect example of this would be the remarkable surge the Yankees made in 2009. A team that missed out on the playoffs the previous year was suddenly the best in all of the sport.
The team looked nothing like its former self after adding Mark Teixeira and Nick Swisher to its batting lineup and CC Sabathia and AJ Burnett to its pitching rotation. This gave the Yanks a powerhouse roster that no team could compete with.
Many are wondering if any team will pull off what New York was able to accomplish last year. After looking at some of the major free agent transactions we’ve witnessed thus far, we’ll probably have a better idea.
Acknowledging the need to compete with the Yankees in 2010, the Red Sox knew that they had to make a move. They couldn’t have done much better than signing John Lackey, the biggest pitcher in the free agent pool.

Binocular Harness Strap Makes Birdwatching Easier
Written by Bartt Iccles on February 4, 2010 – 8:54 am -Are you a serious bird watcher? You enjoy trekking through fields, along streams, and hiking up hills to spot birds? Birds move fast, in a moment they can be sitting right in front of you, and the next moment they are long gone. Your binoculars need to be ready all the time. Using a binocular harness strap can help you be ready, before the bird escapes.
Hiking down the trails along a creek can be a bit challenging, with the overhanging limbs and tall grasses pushing onto the trail. To see some birds in their natural habitat, you must take these journeys. The hike can become even more challenging when your binoculars are swinging back and forth. You lean down to step under a branch, and your binoculars swing wildly out, threatening to crash into the ground, or the surrounding plant life. You don’t want to put them away, because you know the moment you do, you’re going to miss sighting the bird you’re searching for.
With a Bushnell binocular harness, or a Nikon Prostaff binocular harness strap safely keeping your binoculars against your body, you will be able to move freely, and quickly down the trail. When you bend over, your binoculars stay against your body, and do not come swinging wildly down. You can keep them out, and ready for bird spotting.

Written by Erika Hertol on February 4, 2010 – 6:44 am -Niambi Dennis’ career as a personal growth coach started when she retired from professional sports. She competed as a professional athlete for Oakley Eyewear, The US Army and Reebok for 5 years, but when she retired, she floundered. She had no passion and no purpose that she could pin point and her life felt empty.
Niambi was cast for the Emmy Award winning hit series “Starting Over” but only spent about 5 weeks in the home. Yet she walked out with much more insight and she was ready to tackle her new career head-on.
She is now busy with her third course on CD. These CD’s are designed to recondition your mind by telling yourself it is not only okay to love yourself, you should indeed love yourself. This is the first step to greatness.
Apart from these courses she is a recording artist who also writes and does public speaking. Part of her course involves special mirrors that are designed to make people know that they are special. They uniquely designed with beads, fur and pebbles and other such knick knacks. All of this combined ensures that we are constantly reminded of just how special we are.

Go Hokies! Add Style with Virginia Tech Personal Checks
Written by Alan Plastin on February 4, 2010 – 6:09 am -Are you a devoted follower of Virginia Tech and the Hokies? Every season, do you dutifully follow the Governor’s Commonwealth Cup? If so, then the Virginia Tech personal checks might be right up your alley.
Virginia Tech is well known for its programs in agriculture, engineering, science, architecture, and business. It was established in 1872 and today has the distinction of being one of the few public universities to have a corps of cadets. It was also the first school in the country to open its corps to women.
The sports teams at Virginia Tech are referred to as the Hokies. There is no specific meaning behind the word itself. Their mascot is the Hokie Bird, a creature that resembles a turkey. It’s a variation from their original mascot, a turkey referred to as the Fighting Gobbler. The teams participate in the NCAA’s Division I in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
Two of Virginia Tech’s biggest rivals are the University of Virginia and the Virginia Military Institute. The University of Virginia and Virginia Tech both compete in football for the Governor’s “Commonwealth Cup” every season.
