What Is A Comfort Bike And Do I Need One?

Written by PJ Williams on April 30, 2010 – 5:49 pm -

With its eco-friendly splendor, biking for enjoyment, physical exercise and exploring is more common than ever. It’s environmental, affordable and convenient! Long gone are the times of cyclists coming entirely in the kind of Lance Armstrong. You’ll find bikes fashioned with the laid back cyclist under consideration.

Like the name would reveal, the chief goal for the comfort bike is comfortableness. The bike itself is more focused for the cycler and less concerning the ride. Utilizing broader seats along with a shock absorbing frame, the comfort bike is meant to be utilized on paved streets, wobbly rock streets, not really off road.

After the surge of mountain bikes onto the picture, persons became aware they savored the comfort of upright seating position and gentler ride. As mountain bikes became ever more well known they were being developed much less specialized even more to the broad marketplace. As far as bikes combined the facets of road and mountain bikes so they became generally known as hybrid bikes.

Hybrid bikes are similar to comfort bikes. They may be simpler to pedal, such as 10-speeds of yesteryear but are rugged enough to handle just like a mountain bike. I won’t categorize comfort bikes as off road bikes, but hybrids usually are actually not suitable for anything unpaved.

The distinctive red and white day mark of the Hilton Head Island Lighthouse stands out from its surroundings like a giant 90 foot, barber pole. It is so easily recognized that it has in fact become the unofficial symbol of Hilton Head Island. It is also the official logo of the Horizon Heritage PGA golf tournament, held every year in April on the Island.

“Walking up all those stairs is very tiring,” as one visitor put it, “If you have bad knees, I wouldn’t recommend it. The view, however, is awesome!” The view of the Atlantic Ocean from the top of the lighthouse is breathtaking. There is also a museum with displays at about 10 landings as you climb the 114 steps to the top.

The Museum

There’s a landing every 10 steps where you’ll find another facet of the Legends Tour museum on display. Step and study, step and study – with this gradual ascent you’re at the top in no time at all. The displays are rotated on a seasonal basis so there’s always something new for your return visits.

Considering The Law Of Attraction

Written by Rich Thorne on April 29, 2010 – 4:50 pm -

Have you wondered about the law of attraction? Do you think that you can use it to change your life? There is much to be said for this law. Like many belief systems, it is easier to hypothesize than prove. However, there are things to consider.

Things attract similar things. You can see this in study and support groups. If there is one molecule, it may not do much. When it attracts other molecules, it can grow into a cell. Living cells can reproduce into tissue, and so on.

The same may apply for thought. One thought is not very powerful. When it attracts many similar thoughts, it can grow into something more powerful. By concentrating your thoughts on your desires, you can intensify the law of attraction. This may help to bring things about.

The power of thought makes this possible. Thoughts can be called seeds of reality. Look at the room that you are in. Everything there was once a thought. Thoughts can become powerful enough to grow into reality. That happens when a thought attracts other similar thoughts.
