A Simple Pre-game Putting Drill For Amateur Golfers
Written by Tom Brennan on March 3, 2010 – 6:59 am -One problem I see frequently with a lot of amateur golfers is their lack of effective putting practice before a round of golf. They often make the same putting mistakes over the opening 6 holes of a round. Mistakes such as the following:
The amateur putts the ball well short of the hole The amateur putts the ball in a direction they had not intended (i.e. without accuracy) The amateur putts the ball past the hole
For all amateur golfers, performing a 5 minute drill before going to the first tee can really pay off in your match. The following is a short drill that will give you confidence in the alignment of your putting and in your assessment of the speed of the greens.
Alignment
Line up for a long put using whatever preferred technique you regularly use. Place a short iron against the toes of your shoes then step away from the club and look down its line. Is it the line you had intended in your setup? This line is going to show the starting trajectory of your putts so you want to have this as accurate as possible. If the line is off then maybe your technique for lining up shots is a little off. Try picking a point closer to the ball instead of closer to the hole to start lining up your shot.

Online Golf Lessons – Advantage Or Disadvantage?
Written by Steven Watts on March 2, 2010 – 3:31 pm -Golf is a great game. It is also one of the most frustrating ones. Most people play for years and never seem to get better. Let us explore this topic to determine why this is the case. When people play golf they are seeking some physical activity while enjoying some competition. This is fine, but spending 4 or 5 hours playing around and experiencing nothing but frustration is not really a great day! With online golf lessons you can improve your game and become the one thing golfers strive for and that is consistent.
Taking lessons from a golf Professional is costly and time consuming. Working with an online coach can give you the same results, but it will require you to spend more time on the practice range. The biggest challenge most golfers have is that they create bad habits for themselves. This means that although they strike the ball better one day, they may be doing many other things incorrectly, so this is hard to duplicate.

Written by Lucky Murwanthi on February 28, 2010 – 8:55 am -If becoming a better golfer is top on your list of priorities, you are in luck as there are a selection of different things that you’ll be able to do to accomplish this feat. While many individuals pay a great deal of cash investing in things like swing aids or professional golf lessons, there are definitely a lot of value efficient ways to good your swing and improve your golf game.
A golf instruction book is one such technique of improvement, as a top quality book can show you all of the techniques that you need to be told to succeed. Golf will not have to be a tough game and if you have got access to a book written by someone who knows what he or she is talking regarding, you should definitely take advantage of this knowledge.
The primary thing that a golf instruction book can tell you is that you need to clean your mind of all major distractions. This can be a standard problem for golfers, as many believe that they have to be thinking about every individual movement beforehand. This, however, merely causes these individuals to over suppose their stroke and once a golfer is thinking an excessive amount of, she is much more likely to have an unsightly swing. If you have ever seen someone like Charles Barkley swing a golf club, you’ll apprehend exactly what it will do once you over think things.

Some Great Golf Drills to Improve Your Swing
Written by James Blake on February 27, 2010 – 11:54 am -There are many ways to improve your golf swing by performing certain drills. The ones that I prefer do not require you to use a golf club. These drills will force you to concentrate on exactly what happens to your body during the golf swing.
A drill that you can perform is to stand with your feet apart, pretending that you are holding a golf club in front of you. Now take a practice swing and you will notice that your body has to rotate in order to keep the palms of your hands together. Try to ensure that you keep your elbows the same distance apart throughout this practice swing.
The inner circle drill is a great way to ensure that your weight does not spill outside which will reduce the power of your swing. It is simple to perform since all that you will need to do is to swing your arms while taking a practice swing without the use of a golf club. You will remark that your arms are tracing a specific arc that ends after the point of impact of the golf ball. Afterward, when actually swinging your golf club, ensure that the arc is still present.

Miss James’s lawyer Gloria Allred said her 32-year-old client, who had cut her hair short and dyed it red, suffered “anguish and distress” following her three year affair with Woods. She said James believed their relationship “would last a lifetime” and went into hiding to avoid being quizzed about their affair.
“I would be open to a telephone apology from Tiger but I really feel that I deserve to look at him face to face in his eyes because I didn’t deserve this,” said Miss James.
