Golf Rain Gear That Is Essential To The Serious Golfer

Although no golfer wants to have to take it out of their golf bag, unfortunately, the opportunity will present itself. It is a fact of life that the occasion will arise when we will need to play a round of golf on a cold or rainy day. When you find yourself out on the course in these conditions, you will be extremely thankful that you have your rain gear.
Rain gear actually refers to a wide variety of pieces. The golf clothing that is manufactured these days is developed with the goal of keeping the golfer dry by covering essentially anything. You may find that a few of the pieces aren’t required, but others should become a part of your primary golf equipment, and kept handy at all times.
1. Rain Suit – this usually describes a top piece of some sort and pants. These tops and bottoms come in a variety of designs, styles, and your choice of materials. Some of the more popular choices among golfers are the ones with cloth linings. These are a bit pricier to start with, but they end up being used as a rain suit or as a wind breaker if the temperatures start dropping when you are out on the course.
2. Rain Jacket – Rain jackets can be purchased by themselves, and will probably be the piece of rain gear you’ll use most often. It’s not only easy to put on and take off, it also can double as a wind breaker or actual piece of clothing to keep your body dry when the rain really begins to get heavy.
3. Rain Gloves – A lot of golfers opt for having a pair of rain gloves with them. The point of these gloves is their special design that allows you to keep a decent grip on the club handle when it’s wet.
4. Golf bag rain cover – Unless you don’t choose to use an umbrella as a shield over your bag and clubs, a bag cover is not an expensive purchase and will at least keep your clubs and bag dry when rain is falling.
