Talking About Things We Do In Life

Injuries are all part of the game when it comes to martial arts such as Tae Kwan Do. Thus it was no surprise at all that we’ll pretty soon have our own share of pains and bruises at some point when I signed myself up along with a friend. There was one time when my friend got injured during the fight and his opponent immediately helped him up while offering his apology.

Nat was all cool about it though. He told the guy not to apologize since it wasn’t really his fault. They were in a fight and these injuries are certainly part of it. I think it was an honourable and humble statement.

Throughout the entire length of the martial arts course, my friend and I pitted ourselves against sparring partners considerably younger than us and had our own share of muscle pains and bruises to remember it by. However, it was all part of the plan.
