If You Want To Play Tennis Like A Pro: Get A Tennis Tutor Ball Machine To Perfect Your Strokes
Written by Anna Sonders on August 30, 2010 – 5:02 am -Whether you are just beginning to learn how to play tennis, or are an intermediate or advanced player, the bottom line is if you want to improve your game, you need to practice, practice and practice some more.
The most important part about the practice isn’t really to learn new moves or skills, even though, this is part of it. The crucial part of practicing any skill is repetition. Just think about it: When you are first beginning to learn a new sport, you need to go through the moves slowly, step by step. In tennis, by repeating the same forehand and backhand strokes over and over again, you are ingraining the motion of the swings into your brain, so they become your second nature. You want to be able to hit a return from any position and angle without having to think about it – how to position your feet, shoulders or how to hold your racket.
The following presents 3 main advantages of using a ball machine to improve your tennis game:

Buy Adidas MiCoach, Fitness App Comes Free
Written by Tom Doerr on August 29, 2010 – 9:49 am -Adidas have recently released a series of ‘miCoach’ gadgets that monitor heart rate, distance and speed when running. Unlike usual heart rate monitors, the data is not output on a watch; instead they pair with software downloadable for all smartphones.
The miCoach gadgets separate themselves from the popular Nike+ pedometer by not pairing exclusively with Apple technology, although the software for the iPhone is likely to be the most popular. The devices will also pair with an array of mp3 players and hardware.
Although the app is designed to pair with the accessories, it is free to download from app stores and the website; this will most likely prove popular as it incorporates GPS enabled smartphones to allow fitness training without purchasing the hardware.
Although the software can be used alone, the addition of heart rate and footfall are much more effective in performance analysis, meaning an incentive to buy the full price gear.
The software in the app analyses data from the GPS, heart rate and footfall to determine how effective your training is, it will provide on the go feedback from a pre-recorded voice that can instruct you to pick up the pace, relax a little and will direct you through a predetermined, personalised training schedule.

How To Buy A Mountain Bike That Is Right For You
Written by Keith Rejino on August 29, 2010 – 9:47 am -
Your new mountain bike is a long-term investment so determining your riding objectives is the first step to selecting your new MTB. With a number of riding styles, manufactures have produced a number of mountain bikes to fit your riding objectives.
Buy the best MTB bike you can afford. If you see yourself as a long-term mountain biker, spending as much as you can is usually best. For example, buying a bike with a mid-level component group like Shimano’s XT will outperform its lower LX class.
If you buy a MTB with a lower level component group now and decide to upgrade later, it will cost you more in the future. MTB manufactures receive volume discounts on components and pass those savings onto consumers. Plus, the components are already installed so there is no installation cost or you having to do it yourself.

Plenty Of People Can Have An E Bike
Written by Laurence Martis on August 28, 2010 – 9:26 am -President Herbert Hoover has been acknowledged with making use of the phrase, “a chicken in every single pot plus a car in every single yard…” as a campaign slogan. In truth, the president did not use those words himself, but some of his campaign advertising did. In reality, the president would not make use of those terms himself, but a number of his campaign promotion did. These days, with gasoline rates getting higher continuously, an easier way of phrasing the aforementioned sentiment could be, “Why not a rechargeable electrical bicycle in every single garage?”
Would that be such an unattainable target?

Paintball Training – What Kind Of Workout Would Help?
Written by Marcus Liberty on August 21, 2010 – 5:02 am -Paintball can be an extremely physically challenging sport, or an easy one. Really, it all matters how you play. If you are the kind of player that runs like crazy, is aggressive, crawls, slides, and snapshoots like a prairie dog it is physically challenging. On the other hand, if you sit in the back and most of the exercise you get is from your trigger finger, it isn’t very demanding.
Players that want to be the best they can be, will benefit from doing outside conditioning so that when they come onto the playing field, they are better able to run, crouch, crawl, snapshoot, dive, and slide. There are a lot of workouts out there that are sport specific, because really, when you are exercising to become better for a specific sport, some muscle groups don’t need as much attention as others.
Below you will read about certain muscle groups and training methods that a paintballer might want to focus on. These muscle groups are used a lot in paintball and would provide benefit if they are conditioned, just as these training methods benefit certain traits that are beneficial to have.

Learn Five Training Components To Maximize Your Mountain Bike Conditioning
Written by Keith Rejino on August 18, 2010 – 6:00 am -
Whatever race goals you choose, it’s a good idea to start planning how your mountain bike training will get you there in the weeks prior to the event. Having a better understanding of the five components of training, and how you can adjust them will give you a better foundation for planning your next mountain bike race.
1. Frequency /Repetition – How often you mountain bike during the week is an example of frequency. How many intervals or hill repeats you do during a given mountain bike ride is an example of repetition. Manipulating the components of frequency and repetition during your training sessions will help you ensure quality workouts.
The primary purpose of intervals is to allow for repeated sessions of high intensive exercise followed by a specific recovery time. With proper rest and recovery, intervals can strengthen your mind and muscles to perform at a higher level. For mountain bikers, this can easily be done with hill climbing.

The Ezee Cycle Review
Written by Paula Jane on August 14, 2010 – 9:41 am -Finally eZee bicycles have arrived in the store, and it didn’t even matter the person talking. Actually I have been on the phone with Bert an hour earlier when he told me this is the big day. The store closes at 7 o’clock, and it was early afternoon. I probably would leave early but I still couldn’t wait! So he told me to come into the store, leaving around four. The bikes need a bit to tune them up, so i gotta leave early. I live in Long Island, which is a couple hours away.
Shanghai is the country of origin of these eZee bikes, and Mr. Ching is the brains behind the project. The bikes have been around in the UK for a few years now, 50cycles is the main distributor there. Nycewheels together with Electric Vehicles Northwest are the US importers of the ezee bikes. Being a product tester is really hard, especially when it is riding a bike. It’s been a year so far, and I’ve loved every second. Too bad this is unofficial. Bert has been talking about the eZee electric bikes for many months now and seemed very exited every time they came up – I knew it had to be something special.

Why Choose An Insulated Water Bottle?
Written by Ciara Barkley on August 14, 2010 – 8:48 am -If you are a person that enjoys living an active lifestyle then maybe it is time you got your hands on your very own insulated water bottle
As I regularly go for morning runs on a daily basis I always insure I don’t leave the house without my water bottle. Replenishing lost fluids on a intense workout is essential in keeping my body fully operational.
When looking for a water bottle you will come across bottles that can cost anywhere from $5 all the way up to $30, depending on brand and type.
Will you be getting an insulated water bottle?
Insulated water bottles have many benefits. For starters no matter what liquid you have stored inside, these bottles will insure the contents are kept ice cool or warm.
I think you will agree that there is nothing worse that drinking luke warm drinking water or consuming cold coffee that only stays warn no longer than 15 minutes.
Fortunately insulated water bottles are rather affordable, and with plastic type bottles no longer being sold due to health concerns, they have grown in popularity considerably.

How Walking Can Help You To Lose Weight By Burning Calories And Boosting Your Metabolic Rate
Written by Fiona Fuller on August 12, 2010 – 2:24 pm -The many advantages of walking as a way to take exercise are being recognised by more and more people. It’s a low impact, low injury risk workout that you already know how to do – in fact you do it every day without thinking about it. You don’t need any special equipment and you can do it wherever and whenever it suits you. Walk in the street, in the park, on a treadmill – slot it into your schedule whenever it suits you best. It’s also an exercise which is suited to a wide range of people – that’s probably why it has such a low drop out rate.
If you’re trying to lose weight then walking is ideal. Keeping an eye on the amount of calories that you take on board is great – but dieting alone is not a very efficient way to shed the pounds. The combination of dieting with regular exercise will give you much better results. First of all, you will burn calories whilst you exercise – and that’s good. But secondly, regular exercise will actually raise your metabolic rate – the rate at which you burn calories. Even when you’re not exercising the rate at which you burn calories will be higher and this will help to deliver good weight loss results for you.

Bikes Are A Great Mode Of Transportation With Benefit Exercises
Written by Roy Spring on August 12, 2010 – 7:56 am -If you want a great workout, biking may be just for you. It is not only a great way to get around your community; it is a wonderful exercise for people of all abilities.
The body is a major benefactor of bike riding. Endurance and stamina is built up over time as the muscles become stronger. Balance is improved from being on just two wheels. All of this exercise helps you to burn calories and lose weight at a good rate.
A less thought of benefit to biking is relaxation. Biking provides significant stress relief for the mind. Just being out on the open road or on a bike path can be very exhilarating. This is regardless if you are out with the sole purpose of exercise or headed to the local market.
Communities also gain from increase in bike ridership. Neighbors interact in a face to face manner that cannot be done from a car. Bikes also do not emit harmful emissions as do cars. A person choosing to ride a bike is also benefiting a whole community.
