Rangefinders Will Help To Improve Golf Game

Written by Ken Dragki on September 3, 2010 – 9:50 am -

Rangefinders are useful in the fields of geology or archaeology, where they can be used to build 3-dimensional models of the terrain simply by taking measurements at a select few locations.

If distances are important to your activity you need a laser rangefinder. The accurate range to target information is an essential variable due to the fact that rocks, trees, hills, lakes, and rivers have a tendency to distort your depth perception even over short distances.

Rangefinders provide an accurate distance to your target beyond point blank range. Many models have the ability to measure distances to targets up to 1500 yards, almost a mile, and can be accurate under nearly any condition. Due to these facts rangefinders are commonly used with great success by military, golfers, hunters, and archers with lethal percussion.

Where Does David Beckham Stand?

Written by Tony Garrison on September 1, 2010 – 10:38 am -

Fabio Capello made the announcement that David Beckham’s international career has come to an end, but he wants David to get one last run in before it’s over. David Beckham has been playing for the England National Soccer Team for more than 10 years. He’s not only been a great player on the pitch, but he’s been an icon for the team.

David Beckham is currently the leader in all time caps for England’s National Team. He’s made 115 appearances for the squad throughout his years. He missed this previous World Cup in South Africa as a player because of an injury, but they still brought him along because of his influence on the current players.

As Beckham gets back to full health, it doesn’t seem like England will need Beckham to qualify for the European Championships in 2012. However, Capello is doing the right thing by giving him a chance to player another international game. The fans will love it!

Capello told the public that he would be bringing Beckham to play, so he can say goodbye. He’s hoping that Beckham can do this at Wembley as it’s the perfect place to say goodbye. Capello also made it very clear that he won’t be using Beckham in any competitive games.

Marine Picture Work Suggestions

Written by Robin Flores on August 31, 2010 – 8:08 am -

Every thing you can think of is already invented and available on the market. Now even cameras have the ability to go above their previous limitations. If before a camera could only capture photos of things that may be seen on land, with the help of technology, even fish can now share their moments through the camera lens.

It truly is human nature to be unsatisfied with what we’ve got. Often times, humans want new things, something totally fresh, something interesting, and something uncommon. For this reason, underwater photography caught the interest of all people – either they want to learn to capture an underwater photo themselves, or they’re just attracted by the photos shot underneath the ocean.

Should you belong to those who wish to take shots underwater, then these few tips might help you.

Underwater photography is, as the term implies, capturing pictures under water. Basically, the principles of underwater photography are just the same as in normal photography, however, taking shots in a very different environment may require some more effort than taking a photo in a waterless environment.

Paintball Remote Coils – What You Need For Your Gun?

Written by Jerry Bison on August 29, 2010 – 9:34 am -

If you are looking for a cheap modification that you can make to your paintball gear, look no further. The paintball remote coil, or paintball remote line, is a tube that connects the air source adapter on your paintball gun to the CO2 tank and is one of the most priceless investments you can make to your paintball gun. Although it will make your gun look awesome, it also serves some practical purposes.

The most important of these purposes is to reduce the weight of your gun. When using a coil, you will be able to carry the CO2 tank on you rather than on the gun. This will make your gun much lighter and add stability to your shots. Also, if you use the coil, you can carry much larger CO2 tanks to keep the game going longer.

Also by reducing the weight on the gun, you could spare your gun from unnecessary wear. The weight of the CO2 tank and the angles in which they are installed can lead to stripping of the threads in the CO2 connector over time. With the coil, you will not have to be concerned with this any longer.

Some Tips On Becoming A Great Copywriter

Written by Brad Spears on August 28, 2010 – 8:31 am -

Copy writing for the average writer is sort of a scary venture. It is different and sometimes intimidating. But do not let it get to you; you can overcome this and become a great copywriter. Here are a few little hints that can help you learn this new skill.

The main mistake most new copy writers make is the they are too fluffy with their words. This is not intended to be poetic reading; you are trying to get across the new facts. You will irritate a lot of potential customers if you insist on a lot of poor humor and puns. Just cut the stuff out.

The main point there is that you must deliver the facts, not awe your reader at your brilliance in literature. You are there to help people come to a sales decision. So write what people want to know who are buying that product.

Write in a way that is similar to having a conversation with a friend. Therefore, avoid technical language and flowery word. You are not writing to pack a lot into your work like classic works. You need to write simply for the person that is wishing to buy the product.

Sidney’s Candy Romps In La Jolla Handicap

Written by Ross Everett on August 26, 2010 – 8:31 am -

Kentucky Derby pace setter Sidney’s Candy has already demonstrated that he can run on dirt and synthetic tracks, but he may be his best on grass. On Saturday at Del Mar set a turf course record as he dominated the rest of the field in the 1 1/16 mile Grade 2 La Jolla Handicap. It was his first career race on turf, and his sizzling performance which produced a 102 Beyer Speed Figure suggests that his immediate future will be on grass. The previous turf course record course record was set by Mea Domina on September 2, 2006

Although Sidney’s Candy has a pedigree that suggests a good turf horse, no one expected such a strong effort this first time out. Sidney’s Candy is by Candy Ride-who won stakes races on both turf and dirt–and his dam, Fair Exchange, is by Storm Cat out of the mare Exchange, a top-class grass runner. Trainer John Sadler talked about his horse’s performance:

“He worked on [grass] really well last week. We’re thrilled with his performance.”

An Introduction To Snowboard Packages

Written by Mitchell Tatler on August 22, 2010 – 12:34 pm -

For people who are new to the sport of snowboarding, choosing the right gear can be a little confusing. Snowboard packages can be a great way to simplify the process and get you on the hill faster.

While buying the right gear will help ensure a hassle free time on the hill, choosing the wrong gear can ruin an expensive day on the hill with pain and frustration. Some companies make equipment that will work only with other equipment from that specific company. Buying a package from an experienced retailer will ensure that all of your equipment is compatible and fits well.

Retail stores offer discounts on package deals to seasonal products that have to be sale priced later. Packages include board, boots and bindings and there is usually some flexibility in style and colors available. The ability of the rider will determine the level of gear needed, with more experience corresponding to higher end equipment.

Shops selling the gear are happy to sell packages as they move more inventory that otherwise might become next years sale item. To do this they’ll often offer freebies to go along with the package such as gloves or goggles, or even lift tickets.
