Here are 3 reasons why a Lebron James heat jersey won’t just show off your admiration for the new empire of the NBA, but also increase your likelihood of getting a hot date.
Lebron James Heat Jersey Romance Factor No.1: Breaking the Ice
When it comes to topics in sports there may be nothing bigger than Lebron heading down to South Beach to join Wade and Bosh. So why not leverage that buzz to your advantage?
Not sure what to say to the ladies? Let your jersey do the talking. You’ll be surprised how quick you can break the ice—and possibly get a phone number.

Bulls Set To Sign Free Agent Tracy McGrady
Written by Ross Everett on August 3, 2010 – 6:14 am -The Chicago Bulls didn’t win the big prize in this summer’s free agent sweepstakes, with LeBron James opting to sign with the Miami Heat. They’ve made some nice acquisitions despite that, however, and appear to be on the verge of signing well traveled shooting guard Tracy McGrady. McGrady is very receptive to joining the much improved Bulls, though there are a couple of contingencies that need to be worked out before a deal is finalized.
At this point, the major issues to be worked out before a deal is made concerns McGrady’s health and his role with the team. McGrady played only 30 games with the New York Knicks last season as he recovered from microfracture surgery on his left knee. These issues will be addressed on Monday, with McGrady working out for the team and having a physical examination.

Play Better Defense In NBA Live 10
Written by Dan Rivalspot on July 25, 2010 – 12:30 pm -When it comes to the game of basketball, scoring may be pretty but defense wins championships. That sentiment is true whether you are talking about real life action or NBA Live 10 for the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360. In both cases, it won’t matter how much you score if you can’t stop the other team from putting the ball in the net. So, if you have your sights set on winning NBA Live 10 tournaments for both video game consoles, you’ll need to pay attention to the following defensive tips.
First, it’s important to identify the strengths and weaknesses of your team on the defensive end of the floor. Take a look at your starting roster and determine the best defensive match-ups, along with potential issues your squad may deal with, depending on the opposition. Is your point guard slow moving laterally, meaning he will struggle to contain speedy players like Rajon Rondo, Chris Paul and Deron Williams? If so, you may want to consider switching your shooting guard onto the opposing point guard, using your poor defender on a weaker opposing player. On the other hand, you may have undersized big men, meaning your guards will have to keep themselves between their men and the basket. If your center is a shot blocking force, you can try the opposite strategy. Instead, identify your center on the court and force the opposing ball handler to dribble towards him. In this case, an open lay-up will often end up spiked back towards the shooter. So, what’s the underlying theme? Understand your roster, identify match-ups and adjust accordingly.

The Vince Carter Slam Dunk Competition
Written by Mark Stein on July 22, 2010 – 8:13 am -Vince Carter has, for a number of years now, been probably the most widely known and respected brands in the leagues of pro basketball. Much of this celebrity started out back in 2000 with the world famous Vince Carter Slam Dunk Competition.
The Slam Dunk Contest is one of the most well-known NBA competitions and the crowd was utterly amazed by Vince Carter’s amazing first performance back in the year 2000 when he made the first 360 ever, even windmilling the ball in the process. Leaving everyone else completely amazed by his performance, in particular as it was his 1st attempt at a Slam Dunk Competition, the game has gone down in history since as one of the best times in pro basketball.
The historic year 2000 Vince Carter Slam Dunk Contest was as well Vince’s very first attempt at that special tournament, and was perhaps much better known for the fact that Vince Carter made the first reverse full 360 ever. Plus, but he also windmilled the ball.
The truth is, the show was so well-known and widely respected, that it continues to be widely mentioned to this very day and almost any search on YouTube will show a good deal of professional and fan made movies dedicated to this impressive feat.

How To Buy A Lebron Miami Jersey Super Cheap
Written by Nick Mazzerati on July 17, 2010 – 12:15 pm -The King has made his decision. Ohio native Lebron James will pack up his bags and take his world-class skills to Miami and begin pursuit of a championship with his friends Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh.
But whether you’re a long-time Heat fan or just a big fan of Lebron James you’ll probably need to get a Lebron Miami jersey.
Here are some money-saving tips for getting a great deal on a Lebron heat jersey before training camp starts.
Option No.1: Get Out Your Pre-Orders
So if you’ve got a few dollars to spend, and really want a high-quality Lebron Heat jersey then pre-ordering with one of the online retailers will be your best way to go. (I recommend Amazon because returns are a cinch–and you can usually get free shipping.)
Now you won’t have it immediately. (Manufacturers are just now working on putting the jerseys together.)
But for about 80-100 bucks you should have an awesome-looking jersey way before the rest of the masses do.
Pros/Looks great; You’ll be ahead of the pack.
Cons/Somewhat expensive; Might have to wait a bit to receive jersey.
Option No.2: Buy Yourself a Replica Shirt

A Profile On LeBron James Girlfriend
Written by Tom Poorker on July 13, 2010 – 12:24 pm -The name Savannah Brinson might sound familiar to you if you have been paying especial attention to celebrity news recently, but if it does not then you do not have to worry too much. She is better known as LeBron James girlfriend.
The player is called King James by his supporters due to his prowess on the field. He and his girlfriend have been together for quite a long time and as it turns out they were together in high school. They work together in other aspects of their life as well and play a leading role in the LeBron James Family Foundation.
The partners have two sons. The eldest is LeBron James Junior and his younger brother is called Bryce Maxiumus. They are three years apart with the eldest having been born in 2004 and Bryce in 2007. There are now beliefs that the couple is expecting another child.
Those who go out with celebs will tell you that there can be a lot of pressure on them to make sure that they portray a certain image. But there is not actually that much about this couple on the internet and in the tabloids. They only tend to make the pages if they have been to some sort of function. It would be interesting to find out if they make sure that this happens or if it is just the way their luck has run so far.

Learn How To Dunk
Written by Tom Doerr on July 12, 2010 – 11:40 am -A highlight to any basketball game, made to look easy by the lofty giants of the NBA but out of reach for so many, or so they would think. Spud Webb is 5′ 7″ tall, a full foot shorter than the NBA average and he is a dunking regular. However before his NBA success, Webb overcame many challenges early in his basketball career. He was rarely picked for a squad because of his height, but when allowed to try out for his high school team, proved such an impressive player he was offered a scholarship to the University of North Carolina. In his first training session, Webb scored a two handed slam-dunk at a pocket-sized height of 4′ 11″. With his arms stretched out he had a reach of nearly seven foot but this still required a vertical lift of over three feet, more than half his own height. He eventually went on to win the 1986 NBA Slam Dunk competition, in a sport where many players can easily dunk standing on the ground.

Who’s The Best Fantasy Basketball Player?
Written by Tracy Miller on July 10, 2010 – 11:24 am -With the basketball season about to start, many fantasy basketball leagues have begun to form. Some are in the midst of drafting as we speak. If yours is coming up, I hope you should be lucky enough to end up with a top pick. If you are, there are some great options this year.
There are great players to choose from, there’s no doubt about that. However, I see how it can be a difficult decision, and I’d like to help you out a bit. Let’s take a look at the potential contenders at number one this year.
If you’re into the idea of getting an elite point guard, you’ll have to look no further than Chris Paul. No basketball player has been more effective than Paul during the last two years.
Paul’s well rounded game gives you stats that you’ll typically get out of no other point guard. The most assists in the NBA, the most steals in the NBA, and a point guard who shoots over 50% are all really hard to pass up on.
If you’re looking for someone bigger, there’s always LeBron James, thought by many to be the best ordinary basketball player. LeBron’s well-rounded style suits fantasy teams really well. No forward gets more assists than James does.

My Experience At The Chris Paul Basketball Camp
Written by Jonathan Blanchard on July 10, 2010 – 10:08 am -It was just a quick three-day camp but it was an amazing learning experience for those who were there. Chris Paul, along with Jim Stoll and the coaches from around the metro area, teamed up to help kids develop their games.
The camp was divided into two age groups. One for kids 7-10 years old (this was in the morning) and one for kids 11-18 years old (this was in the afternoon). One of the best things about the camp was the fact that Chris Paul really did get personal with everyone there.
Every single person there got to see CP3 himself giving speeches and pep talks. Most of these were stories about growing up, his time with the Hornets, and his experience in China with the US national team last summer.
The groups would do scheduled drills, working on skills such as post play, shooting, ball handling, rebounding, and setting picks and screens. Whether you were just beginning to play basketball, or you have been playing for a while, you picked something up at this camp. It may have been a new offensive move, better skills at a given aspect of the game, or just the advice from other coaches on how to improve one’s game.
