Vince Carter has, for a number of years now, been probably the most widely known and respected brands in the leagues of pro basketball. Much of this celebrity started out back in 2000 with the world famous Vince Carter Slam Dunk Competition.

The Slam Dunk Contest is one of the most well-known NBA competitions and the crowd was utterly amazed by Vince Carter’s amazing first performance back in the year 2000 when he made the first 360 ever, even windmilling the ball in the process. Leaving everyone else completely amazed by his performance, in particular as it was his 1st attempt at a Slam Dunk Competition, the game has gone down in history since as one of the best times in pro basketball.

The historic year 2000 Vince Carter Slam Dunk Contest was as well Vince’s very first attempt at that special tournament, and was perhaps much better known for the fact that Vince Carter made the first reverse full 360 ever. Plus, but he also windmilled the ball.

The truth is, the show was so well-known and widely respected, that it continues to be widely mentioned to this very day and almost any search on YouTube will show a good deal of professional and fan made movies dedicated to this impressive feat.

Along with his efficiency in the Slam Dunk Contest, Vince Carter’s career in basketball is also well-known and highly regarded for many other key events and rewards. Having won the NBA All-Star 8 times in total, that is only the start of his amazing portfolio of awards. He has also achieved the All-NBA award and won an Olympic gold medal in 2009.

These days, Vince Carter plays for Orlando Magic and persists to build his career, raking in a wage of a lot more than sixteen million. His career only began in 1998 but continues to skyrocket in terms of importance and impressiveness. Until recently being traded with the Orlando Magic team, he played for the New jersey Nets.
